Swords Pavilions are pleased to announce our Charities of Choice for 2018.
Saint Francis Hospice
The staff and volunteers of St. Francis Hospice provide specialist palliative care to people of North Dublin City and County. Their services are delivered from their hospices in Raheny and Blanchardstown. Based on a Christian philosophy, each person is treated with dignity, respect and compassion irrespective of their cultural or religious background. Our services are at no charge to patients.
The RNLI is the charity that’s saves lives at sea. The service is totally funded by donations and legacies, and we provide an on call 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around Ireland. We have 45 lifeboat stations served by volunteer crew members who come from all walks of life, ranging from milkmen, to teachers, to local business people. Our rescues can happen at any minute of the day on our coastline and inland waters. The crew make themselves available to assist, leaving their own lives behind to reach the people in distress.
